Very convenient location with free parking lot and small garage. Staff has all been excellent, friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar on site were also surprisingly reasonable and well stocked.
Nice comfortable hotel by the river. This is where I stay when I'm in Windsor on business.
The only negative thing I could say about this place is that the restaurant is seasonal so it does not open year round. That was a huge disappointment.
Would stay again. Excellent staff! Tierra is the nice young lady that served our breakfast. She was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who checked us in as he was very warm and welcoming. I did not give 5 stars because the tub/shower was not draining properly and we had to stand in water while showering. I see this as a general issue at many hotels and many brands. I believe it is an issue of training cleaning staff to notice and report these things. I did report our problem at checkout. (We only stayed one night.)
The room was beautiful. We all found it comfortable, clean, and the AC worked great without being too loud. Price was great too. We wish all of our rooms could have been this nice on our trip. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Overall it is acceptable experience. The room is small but the furnishing is nice and modern. No broken stuff. The carpet is really dirty — you can even notice black stain on a dark grey carpet! Some hanged towels smells old (not all). But overall I am happy with the condition. Location is good. If you are not facing highway I think the noise is fine. They have double layer windows. Close to downtown and you can find some food there. Supposedly Holiday Inn is one level higher than its Express counterparts— but I don’t think I feel that in this particular franchise.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Windsor a couple of times and found it to be great value for money. I would recommend booking one of the premium rooms for a bit of extra comfort. The hotel has a large car park with reasonable pricing, which is very convenient. The bar offers drinks at reasonable prices, and while the restaurant is quite basic, the food is affordable and breakfast is good value. Overall, it’s a good spot for a 3-day stay, especially since the hotel is very handy for all the attractions and activities in Windsor. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and economical place to stay in the area.
We chose this hotel because it was close to Healdsburg. It was clean and affordable for the one night stay we had. About a $10 Uber/Lyft to Healdsburg.
